Two years ago Catherine Cordell was raped and nearly murdered. She shot the man who tried. She has now moved to Boston and leads a successful life as a Medic in the Pilgrim Medical Center. However some more bodies turn up dead, and the method looks very much like the previous killer. So is he de...

Not the best in the genre but still so much more mature than the 'prey' series by john sandford. Climax could have been better.

Wow! What a great book! I am normally not a mystery-suspense reader unless it is romantic suspense but I wanted to read this book and the entire Rizzoli and Isles series because I enjoy the tv show. I was introduced to Rizzoli and Isles through the t.v. show and I really enjoyed it so I thought I'd pick up the books it was based on. I was not disappointed. This is a fantastic, fast-paced and suspenseful read.

This is a solid thriller. My only problem with the book is that it's billed as Jane Rizzoli book 1, but Rizzoli isn't really the main character. She's here, but it really felt like the main cop character is Det. Tom Moore. Hopefully Rizzoli is a bigger character in the second book.

An excellent and quick read. I'll never trust a failed doctor again. Highly recommended.

I have to say, I loved this book. I loved the suspense and the dialogue. Yeah there was a LOT of medical terminology, but it's expected. A brilliant book :)

Good story, well paced. A bit too much description of gruesome details.
