This was a very cool book to read, as I have mentioned in other reviews I love books that are chucked full of little tidbits of information, like the origin of the word "clue", quotes from other writers of the time and how they were inspired by Road Hill killing, things of that nature, and this book...
While the book was at times a little dry, overall it was very good. Summerscale presents a case and uses it show the Victorian family and comment of the case's impact on literature.
