This book was horrible. It was amazing. I almost cried when it was over. I wanted to throw it across the room and scream to it. I wanted to hold it in my arms and never let it go again. I can't write a coherent review about The Sweet Far Thing. The title is perfect for this book. It's such a bitter-...
I'm not sure why I enjoyed this series so much. The story is all over the place, the girls are often awful to each other and the denouement dragged a bit, but it was great fun. The reader was adept at creating character voices that reflected them well (there was only one part where I wondered if s...
Don't get me wrong, I absolutely fell in love with this book! I really did!It was the ending that made me cry. No, that isn't right, it made me sob. For what felt like hours. I loved the first two books in this series, but this one was just OK for me. I was LONG and a bit tedious to get through, I was also hoping for a bit more progression with the characters, maybe have them mature a little, but alas that was not to be.
