This book was horrible. It was amazing. I almost cried when it was over. I wanted to throw it across the room and scream to it. I wanted to hold it in my arms and never let it go again. I can't write a coherent review about The Sweet Far Thing. The title is perfect for this book. It's such a bitter...

Magic, mystery, betrayal, forbidden love, choices, battle, and much more fill nearly every page of this final chapter in the Gemma Doyle story. Destinies are discovered, lovers revealed, alliances are forged, and the battle of light and dark is fought. Captivating and enchanting from the beginning, ...

This is one of my all time favorite series. It's the first set of books I really loved after the twilight saga. Super imaginative, and a pleasure to read. I read all three within 2 weeks, and it was the kind of book where you're sad it's over. Would recommend to anyone.

this was by far my favorite in the gemma doyle trilogy, and it was also the longest tome in the series, with over 800 pages to tie up all the loose ends. but it was necessary, and quite honestly, i wouldn't have minded if it had been even longer (or, wait, better yet, how about a fourth book, ms. b...

This series is awesome. I highly recommend it. There was a hint of glbt-themes throughout the series, but I wasn't sure to put it under that category until a scene in the last book, I don't want to reveal who came out, but I saw it from the beginning, but I wasn't sure if that was just me or the wri...

And so ends the Gemma Doyle Trilogy... and all I can say is... wow. I truly did enjoy this series. It is one of the best series out there I have ever read. Usually I get bored with a series and I cannot finish is after the first book. But this one... just incredible! I know I will be able to read th...

First of all, I have to admit, when I picked up The Sweet Far Thing, I immediately checked the number of pages I’d be reading and asked myself: “What could possibly be in this book to use up over 819 pages?” I winced at the thought that this might be slow-paced. And unfortunately, it was.Bray’s writ...

While the size of this book daunted me a little, I tore through it. The plot twisted in ways I didn’t think, and the ending was gut-wrenchingly good. (In that NOOO must these characters die, stay here, I love you! way) I loved Gemma’s dealings with everyone trying to get her magic and how she tries...
