The plot of this story was good and the ending was exciting but the secrets unraveled too slow, the romance was immature, too many tangents and so much of the story was told through thoughts. I started skimming early. Injured navy SEAL Tom returns home to heal and encounters old high school friend...

Such a good book!! Why have I not read anything by this author before? Brockmann will definitely be on my favorite author list now!The characters, story line, settings ... everything ... was so well developed and thought out. I am not left with any questions at all. That is the sign of a great autho...

I really liked Ms. Brockman's Navy Seal series, but for some reason I have had this book (the first of her Troubleshooter series) on my TBR pile for a long time. After listening, I am not sure what took me so long to read it. I loved the characters and the complex relationships in the book. Unsun...

I've read a few in this series but somehow skipped the beginning. I thought Tom and Kelly's romance was a predictable second chance thing but Tom's niece Mallory and her surprise relationship with David was more unconventional and therefore more exciting. I'm not one for the whole terrorist angle ...

There was a lot going on in the book but I really enjoyed it. I really didn't care for Kelly but I still managed to overlook my minor gripes with her. It was the side story with Mallory and David that kept me interested. I can't believe it has taken me so long to get into this series. I look forward...

I really liked this but I couldn't give it a five because I got really bogged down in all of the side stories. The 1944 stuff started to make the story drag for me a bit. I really liked Tom's character. I liked him much more than Kelly. Also, loved David and Mallory's story. I hope we see more ...

I'm wavering between 3 and 4, so I'm going to go with 3.5. (Now, how to represent that in those little stars up there...)This book contained so many little stories wrapped up in one. You had the friendship between Charles and Joe, which led to flashbacks of their time in WWII with a woman named Cybe...

Buddy Read, Wendy3.5 stars…Before starting the Troubleshooters I was told time and time again how “dated’ the first two books in this series are. Problem is I really liked Unsung Hero I may be in the minority here.In Unsung Hero we meet Tom an injured on medical leave SEAL lieutenant. He’s coming...

The Unsung Hero is a good book which had a few problems. The Ashton family and the Paoletti family have been linked since Joe Paoletti and Charles Ashton served together in occupied France during WW2. Tom Paoletti returns to his hometown where he runs headlong into Kelly Ashton the woman he loved an...

I had a hard time - 3 or 3.5 stars and finally decided 3.5 stars. This book was actually several stories wrapped together [not really, but this is what it seemed to me]. This book started out wonderfully. I was so excited and just knew I would have a 5 star read. What happened. Two things: 1) one sto...
