I really enjoyed The Voyage of the Dawn Treader. I loved Reepacheep. I liked Eustace and Edmund has always been one of my favourites. It was nice to take a different slanted view of Narnia and its past.

Just finished reading this aloud for our teen bookclub. This is probably my 2nd favorite book of the Chronicles of Narnia. I love the conversion of Eustace from a "record stinker" to a young boy where "the cure had begun".

Wonders of the sea await Lucy, Edmund, Eustace and King Caspian aboard a magical ship. Stars Paul Scofield and Bernard Cribbins.

12/17/2010 ** Well, we broke down and went to see the movie in the first weekend of its release. For a movie, it was well done. However, as a movie based on a book, I had some issues. Where did the green mist and seven swords come from? More importantly, why? Also, Michael and I think they chan...

Good book. It was better than The Horse and His Boy, but still couldn't match up with even Prince Caspian. I will say, however, that I will miss Reepicheep, Edmund, and Lucy. They were the characters that kept me reading. Eustace is becoming an interesting character, but I'm not sure if he will rema...

Dawn Treader is probably the best book in the Narnia series. I suspect it's not quite as popular as Wardrobe (and the sappy movie adaptation didn't help either, but Narnia's movie adaptations are all pretty awful), but I think it's on par with it, if not better. There's not really a plot or central c...
