Oh my soul, I loved this. I never wanted to leave Lud. What a fantastically horrific place. And after a brief cameo in book #1, RF returns. Oh, there is going to be some industrial-grade wanton ultra-violence soon. This is so much fun, can't wait for #4GIFSoup#jointhegifreviewrevolution

After browsing through the comments here before starting to read this book, which ALWAYS turns out to be a bad idea so far, I was under the impression I was going to surf on the waves of Boredom for over 400 pages. Roland isn't the only one who has to get to the Dark Tower, because I want to sniff the roses and stare up at its obsidian splendor. Even more importantly I wan...

Wondrous. The reader is totally submerged in the four-way relationship established in the first two books. Personally, this is my favourite of the series so far.

A solid and enjoyable entry in the DARK TOWER series, though I rank it one star less than the previous volume solely for some prolonged lulls in the story.
