Black Tickets: The Memoir of his Slave is the story of Amanda Wright, an artificially amnesiac convict who made a bargain with a wealthy and brilliant recluse. In exchange for his promise the she will never be returned to prison and that he will never use the tranquilizers that the state provides him to control her, she knelt before him and agreed to serve him in any way he chose and without the right to refuse.
Over the course of the last three years, she has learned to acknowledge Martin Wright as her de-facto owner even as she observes him and knows that he is using every means at his disposal to mold her into his vision of the perfect servant and the perfect companion.
In this story, she is alone in Martin Wright’s office, completing the monthly ritual of making a new quirt, the cowboy’s version of a riding crop, and remembering the electrifying pleasure in what Martin Wright does with it when she has served one of his guests especially well.
