This is a tale of what might come when the pendulum that now swings in favor of technological progress slows, stops and begins to swing the other way after a few, very serious eco-disasters. It is one man’s struggle, against a tide, to preserve what he can of the past in a world ravaged, diseased and descended into a new world order bent on eradicating the past. It is both his personal story and the history of his times as he survives and slowly recovers, over decades, the wits and the means to undo a destructive, totalitarian order and restore a little bit of what we call civilization.
