Lovely collection of stories from one of my favorite writers. The first half of the collection moved too slowly for me, but I loved the second half.
Probably my favorite Le Guin short story collection. The Darkness Box and most especially The Direction of the Road which had a profound effect on me in my youth.
Ursula K. LeGuin is an acknowledged master writer in fantasy and science fiction for a reason, even more so, she is a writer who excels beyond the limitations of those genres.
