I really liked the first pages of this book, it put a huge smile on my face. But the rest of the book was barely interesting. It was realistic (once you get over the fact that a 17 yo actor starts an online random conversation with the illegitimate daughter of a senator), nice and cute but mostly it...
My Actual Rating: 2.75 starsFirst of all, I liked this book. But sadly, it just isn't my cup of tea. Some of the circumstances are way too far from happening in real life that I just read this for the sake of entertainment and no longer for my desire to live vicariously through the characters' exper...
This is the kind of book you read in-between other books. It is sorta like cotton candy, you put a big fluffy wad in your mouth and it dissolves immediately without much fuss or substance to it. Don’t get me wrong it is delicious and enjoyable but it really isn’t going to stick with you either. Th...
In every sense of the word, this is a breezy summer read: it takes place in the summer, in a quaint town in Maine, and involves the romantic fallout of two cutesy teenagers. Ellie and her mom came to Maine years ago to hide out from the publicity Ellie's senator-father gave them. (She's an illegitim...
This is a really fun read. Everything was adorable. From the book cover itself to the characters and the story plot.I love how everything started when Graham Larkin accidentally sent Ellie an email. The characters were flawed. I love how simple this story is but it's perfectly well-written. JUST... ...
What starts out as an accidental mails turns into a fullblown romance. :)It all starts when Graham sends a mail to the wrong adress, to Ellie. She replies to it, and eventually they chat daily. They have fun, though Ellie doesn't know Graham is a super hot actor. Then the movie comes to Ellie's town...
Cute story. Nothing amazing, but a fast read with likable main characters. It was a little too cutesy at times and predictable, but a nice summer read. The one thing. Wish was that we got more of Graham and Ellie's email history. I think if that was added it would have made the book way better.
If you’re looking for a really adorable summer romance, this book is perfect for you. It’ll make you happy. :)Superstar Graham Larkin accidentally e-mails small-town girl Ellie O’Neill about the care of his pig, Wilbur. They start up a correspondence every day, and soon, they both know each other be...
You can see more of my reviews here at: Take Me Away...With this being my first book by Jennifer Smith, I fully expected it to be great. Everyone speaks very highly of her other novels, so I was hoping I wouldn't be let down. And believe you me, I wasn't. This whole book to me was very ironic. O...
This review was first posted on Music, Books and Tea.This Is What Happy Looked Like was such a fun read! I loved reading Statistical Probability last year, and was hoping for more of the same from Jennifer E Smith’s summer release. Unfortunately, it lacked a little bit of the spark that Statistical ...
