Please, please, please can you fix it so that when I add a 'Currently reading' book to my shelves the date I start reading (same as date added) is automatically filled in? Please?

It drives me nuts trying to go through multiple screens after I've added my newest read to try and find the bit where I can set today's date as my start date. Just make it so that when I add a book to currently reading that my add date is also my start date. If I'm adding it today as 'currently reading' then I'm starting it today.

I know I already plus one-d this, but wanted to add to the cry in favor for this feature that it's a HUGE pain to deal with on tablets/phones. I know BL doesn't have an app (and I know what a pain app development is), but I actually think that makes it MORE important that the UI is easy to navigate in non-desktop formats.
