I just saw the movie Pride and Prejudice with Keira Knightley. I know it's not the book, and lots was left out, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. It's quiet and slow and absolutely charming from start to end.
I finished the book. Contrary to my expectations, I wasn't enraptured but I did like it, especially the last two thirds. The beginning was slow, but as far as I know, it's customary for novels of that time. My review is here.
