With all of the turmoil over at Goodreads regarding their upcoming homepage redesign and the dropping of the groups discussion option on the homepage, many folks are looking to BL as an alternative. I've had members there saying that they'd move to BL once there's an app available.
What's the status on a mobile app being released?

I would also like to see an app for BookLikes. I'm mostly browsing from my phone (and I'm sure that countless others are too) and the website is just too clunky for it. Thanks!
Since Booklikes staff hasn't been around the site in nearly a month and have now stopped replying via Twitter - the one place that they were responding to previously - I don't think there's much of a chance of an app unless a third party creates it. I just hope they keep paying for hosting so the site doesn't disappear completely.
It's not possible to create an app without having access to BL's programming api's...and only BL's staff have access to them...
