Week 1: Aug 1-7 covers Chapters 1 to 35 and discussion will be on Aug 8th
Week 2: Aug 9-14 covers Chapters 36 to 70 and discussion will be on Aug 15th
Week 3: Aug 16-21 covers Chapters 71 to 106 and discussion will be on Aug 22nd
Week 4: Aug 23-29 covers Chapters 107 to 142 and discussion will be on Aug 30th-31st including wrap-up
*discussion can be started by anyone in the group. i know reading guides can be helpful but i have none for this book. anyway, i prefer spontaneity so let's just talk about the chapters e.g. what are your thoughts so far, what you like/do not like, interesting character or quote, etc.
**the schedule is a guide. you don't have to stick to it. read in advance if it pleases you! :)
***i almost forgot, my birthday falls on Week 1.
Sounds good. Spontaneity is fun!! Looking forward to it.

no problem with me Lora. my hardback copy from Viking has 326 pages while my old mass paperback from Signet has 380 pages. :)
I sort of accidentally finished the book already. My dad was hospitalized over the weekend and I burned through the audiobook travelling back and forth. I can refer back to my bound version to refresh my memory, though!

that's all right with me. no worries. the schedule is just a guide for the group but i don't mind members reading in advance. reading is supposed to be fun not stressful. :)
i hope you're dad's doing well now. take care as well.
