Unless I start a series and there is something about it that makes it unputdownable I usually series hop. I am always on the hunt for those that have a large back catalog and are so delicious that I gorge on them all, that is my favorite find and they are oh so rare!!

The last one that comes to mind was The Tairen Soul novels which had such a great storyline that I read all 5 in one swoop. Before that, I think it was Kate Daniels?
Before this year, I was always a series hopper. I would jump from one series to another - sometimes one in-progress, sometimes start a new one. But, this year, I've read several 1st-in-series books that have had me jumping right into the next and the next and the next until I'm current. Two quickly come to mind: Halle's "Experiment in Terror" series (one-a-day for a week) and Hunter's "Blood Destiny". That said, there are a bunch that I just cannot read back-to-back and need a palette cleanser (or two) in-between before continuing on in the same series.
Oh, you DEFINITELY need to read Kate! One of my all-time faves. Each book is better than the last, IMO.

1,000% agree! Kate is incomparable (and Curran, obv)!

:D Yay!
late but adding my vote to Kate...
I'm a one series at a time reader. I start and read until I reach the end of what's published. I guess I feel like we are in a relationship and I am committed to see it through until we either get married or break up. However, I read around until I find a series that is compatible.
Need help?
