I don't know what genre everybody is doing, but some of the genre lounges have dare threads. A good amount of the dares are so silly they wouldn't work in anything but a parody, but there's some really good stuff buried in there if you try to find it.

I'm a Nano rebel - instead of starting something brand-y new on November 1, my goal is to add 50000 new words to the fantasy novel I have had in progress for far too long - I really need to finish the bloody thing. I'm not cheating in word count, though - I have a new document open for my 50K.
