There will be one group read for the 24 Tasks game, beginning on November 15.
We know that a number of people are already planning on (re)reading Terry Pratchett's Hogfather -- which of course will also cover the "book" task for the Hogswatch square.
But we'd like to keep things open at this point, so if someone has a different suggestion (e.g., a Christmas book), please post it here.
The group read book will be announced on November 8 (at the latest).
On a related note, the November Flat Book Society read, The Rise and Fall of the Dinosaurs, will cover the "book" task for New Year's Eve (it covers the beginning and ending of a species, and assuming the comet gets any page space, there would definitely also be something that's gone "BOOM!").
The same book would possibly also cover the "book" task associated with another holiday as yet to be revealed -- we'll mention it again once that particular holiday's door is opened.
And, of course, the second Discworld group read, The Light Fantastic (December 1), will equally cover the Hogswatch "book" task.
