I finished as well. It still reads to me as uncertain as it was when I first read it. I think was feeling the uncertainty mostly because of the war going on and they could be hurt or dead. Nathan's misery? I think I felt he was miserable yes, but what Matt was feeling was hopeful enough for me.
Nah, tearjerking sequel imagining would be without me :). I do think that this one is the least HEA out of all his books I have read yes.
I also thought that the mystery was strong enough - I remembered who villain was, but I am pretty sure that when I read for the first time I have not guessed.
Yeah - I mean he talked about Hansen's influencing him and I think more than once, but I think this one shows it the most.

I don't think I'll be able to read Lanyon without looking for Hansen now. Which reminds me, the third Brandstetter arrived from the library yesterday.
