Discussion: Question about organizing my shelf and reviews

Hello everyone, I imported all of my goodreads books but many of them didn't make it, a lot are missing book covers and a lot don't have any links. So I've been going through them one by one and deleting them and reposting my reviews. Is there a faster way to do this? I looked at my import page and thought that was an easy way to fix things up, I could just click on the book, change it's version, add a cover, etc but it doesn't translate over to my shelf so I've gone back to just deleting each one in my shelf, finding my old reviews on Amazon/Goodreads and copy/pasting them over and re-publishing them, then I have to scroll down through my blog and delete the duplicates. So what I'm wondering is if there's a faster way to do this?
You can edit your imports on import page: http://booklikes.com/settings/import
It's a place where you can change the edition of imported books.
You can also use batch edit in Shelf Table view: http://booklikes.com/shelf/table
TY so much but once they're imported does changing them on the import page also change them on your shelf? I was originally doing that but whatever changes I made didn't seem to affect my shelves or my blog.

I've been using Batch Edit, actually I've been going through my blog and fixing up my reviews there and then jumping over to my shelf and making sure everything's good. Every so often I get a duplicate of a book but I just delete the old one and keep the new one I just fixed. It's not too hard yet but I can imagine what it would be like if I had thousands of books.

Also a bunch of stuff just didn't make the import and I was never really active on GR so I had a lot of very old book versions, some before books were ever even released so a lot of the covers didn't make it along with a lot of those books but that was pretty much my fault. I'm getting it down though and have been really enjoying Booklikes. Once you get over that initial confusion it's a lot of fun.

I think never using any site like GR or anything along with never really blogging just made it confusing for me but doing much better now. TY so much.
Hi.
Once you change book edition on Import Page, the change should be mirrored on your Shelf and review post. Just write if you have any more questions. You can also mail us at contact@booklikes.com
