What are your favourite World War one reads? Do you prefer overviews or in depth looks at something specific? Personally I prefer the latter, it feels like your getting some real insider knowledge that not too many people know about!

Some of my favorite Second World War books that I've read over the years are the following:
1) I FOUGHT YOU FROM THE SKIES - Willi Heilmann (Heilmann had been a Luftwaffe fighter pilot)
2) GERMAN FIGHTER ACE HANS-JOACHIM MARSEILLE: The Life Story of the Star of Africa - Franz Kurowski
3) JG 26: TOP GUNS OF THE LUFTWAFFE - Donald L. Caldwell
4) THE RISING SUN: The Decline & Fall of the Japanese Empire 1936-45 - John Toland
5) FORTRESS MALTA: An Island Under Siege, 1940-1943 - James Holland
