Not bad, as books go. The peripheral intrigue isn't bad, I guess.The main character's pretty spectacularly useless and stupidly blasé, though, which puts quite a dampener on everything.I almost forgot - how could I have?So...many...misused homophones.One does not "peak" - one "peeks."And one "makes ...
