This was clever and interesting, though it read a lot like an adventure/survival story and an awful lot like an RPG quest. Don't get me wrong--I'm not knocking either of those things. That's part of what made it fun, and it is an extremely short story (as evidence by the extremely short audiobook ...

A fun short story but not one that is central to either if the Royce and Hadrian series. Not bad for the price paid (free) on Audible.4 Stars for an enjoyable story.

Nice short story with a little excitement and a little humor. My first time reading anything by the author and I enjoyed it.

I saw this as a free audiobook download on the audible site and thought I'd give it a listen. It was fun, and nicely narrated. I really liked the story and I think I'll probably pick up the first book in this series when I can.
