This was the start of my Cindy Gerard glom. Overall I preferred the BOI series but that might have just been the order in which I read them. Interesting to see just how focused people can be when they are passionate about something. I found the contradiction between Jillian's parents in this book...

An OK thriller/mystery story, a bodyguard and his client. DidnĀ“t really grab me, though, a bit repetitive and i lost interest in the end. Maybe give it a try to read it to the end some other time.

Overall, liked this one best. I think because of the humor, and have read only the first one. I find she rambles a bit, with little story value, but just skimmed those portions.

I'm glad that Shawna recommended for me to start the Cindy Gerard books. This was a very good book. I just adored N...

No in-depth character development2. Lots of lust but little romance or love IMHO. The hero was too closed up to...

4,5 starsNolan Garrett's life has hit rock bottom. Guilt over many things has him drinking it away when he finds a new purpose in life by being Jillian Kincaid's bodyguard, at the request of her father and as a favor to his brother. Though he sees it as being forced and unwanted he is determined not...
