Deliciously dark, beautiful art and twisted characters. I've waited so, so long to be able to read this in book form and it really did not disappoint. The Sandman is a complex character, and the "Lord of Dreams" aspect allows for an element of surreality that I often miss in literature, both in comi...

It's quite good, but not brilliant. Interesting characterization and world, but there is a bit of a tonal inconsistency to it. Everyone seems to think that it gets better as it goes along, so at some point in the future I want to read more of it. However, it is not quite good enough for me to do ...

This was definitely creepy and weird. I kind of thought the King of Dreams looked a bit like Neil Gaiman. Not sure if that was on purpose or if he would be offended I thought that. Looking forward to the second volume.

I love it when a graphic novel really makes me pay attention. Gaiman is such a masterful storyteller.

I really enjoyed this one, although some parts were pretty grotesque and hard to take. The story was very interesting, philosophical at times, and I'm looking forward to reading the rest of the series. I found it quite funny that the Dream Lord resembles Neil Gaiman so much!

This volume has 8 parts. Initially, I never thought to pick up this graphic novel yet (was going to read Sin City but oh well). Dream, who is known as The Sandman, Morpheus, and many more is the main character in this series. He rules the dreams and nightmares. So, he is technically part of The Endl...

I liked it. It was a lot creepier and more gruesome than Volume 6 (I'm not reading them in order) but good, nonetheless. Nice to see Shakespeare make an appearance in this volume!
