Tone - Kei (pronounced TONKEY EYE), is an American Indian legend. As he is now an elder, he allowed me to write his biography, simply because I asked him. He also graciously shared with me - all of his life's work, and the ancient folk tales he had cherished in his scrapbook. Some of these folktales he wrote, and many had been passed on through indigenous people since the beginning of history. I knew I had to encapsulate these stories for the rest of us, so I could pass these lessons to my children, and their children's children.
Grandpa Tone-Kei's story is a journey that heals the land and his people. If people don't understand the North American Indian way, they do not understand this county. If that is you, I invite you to fall in love with Sammy "Tone-Kei" White and the love of his people.
