I'd originally planned to review three of these at a time but there is just so much that happens in every chapter, much less every volume. I was first introduced to Toriko on Crunchroll when I learned there was a combined One Piece and Toriko episode. I watched it, had no real idea what was going on...
I think this volume worked a lot better for me than the first one. Makes sense, since the first one had a LOT of worldbuilding to get out of the way while weaving an introductory story around our main two characters. this volume gets to take its time and sort of stretch out, to I think its bettermen...
