I really loved the book. The plot was amazing - love the books where Eve and her team takes down dirty cops. The confrontations with Renee was very satisfying and well written. I liked how all these parts intertwined in the investigation interacted. Webster was great and the romance with the chief o...

(Audio) Upon reread, I discover I like this one just as much. It gets a bit repetitive in parts as Robb hammers in Eve and her identity as a cop, but watching Eve take down a dirty lieutenant is just delicious.

What can I say another spectacular Eve Dallas adventure at Central this time against a bunch of dirty cops. I love how Eve's mind works. She is able to see how someone else will react and use that knowledge to bring them down. I really liked how Peabody got so much face time in this one. It really...

We knew who the perp was from the beginning and it was fun to watch Eve and the usual gang wrangle all the bad guys. I didn't know this about myself but I guess I'd have to say it was a guilty pleasur...

Detective Eve Dallas and her partner, Peabody, are following up on a senseless crime - an elderly grocery owner killed by three stoned punks for nothing more than kicks and snacks. This is Peabody's first case as primary detective - good thing she learned from the master. But Peabody soon stumbles ...

This was actually a great book, contrary to what I was hoping for. I'm glad I finally caught up with this series. I'm anxious to read "New York to Dallas" and I'm glad that this series hasn't gone old. You know what I mean right? After almost forty books , J.D.Robb keeps on scoring. The stakes are h...

When Eve's trusted side-kick Peabody overhears a discussion between two police officers it's almost immediately clear that she's listening to tales of corruption. Peabody is scared but doesn't have a choice but to stay hidden and listen to them while they argue and mention that a troublesome informe...
