Wow! I've never read a sequel that was even stronger emotionally then the first. Fantastically enough, this didn't feel like the second book in a series (ie, trilogy in the YA world). Instead of just setting the stage for a final book, it ramped up the tension and made me really care about the ch...
For a more in-depth review, check out http://vivaladolcevita14.blogspot.com/Damn, this was a good follow-up to Raised by Wolves. The stakes were raised, the action was kick-butt, and the character development. This story had a different feel to it, but also still felt like the original.Bryn got some...
I'm disappointed by this sequel. I don't feel I should be. Objectively speaking, the plot is a good one. It's based on an ethical dilemma with no obvious answer and where gaining advice is problematic. The struggle, Bryn's journey as alpha is what this is about but I just couldn't seem to care. It w...
I loved this book. It was even better than the first book which i also loved, i could not put it down. Bryn is one of the best female characters i read about. All the love all of the characters in the the book though im still not sold on the Chase-Bryn relationship yet, but overall great book.
If you enjoyed Raised By Wolves, you will no doubt love Trial By Fire. It in no way disappoints. Trial By Fire continues the unique werewolf story that we've grown to love. It is strong, suspenseful, and will have an ending you didn't see coming.Trial By Fire continues where we left off in Raised By...

She was raised in Callum’s pack since the age of four aft...
4.5/5This book might have had a bit slower pace than the first one, but Miss Barnes's writing is so hypnotizing that I genuinely didn't care.I remember absolutely loving the first book, and the second installment of Bryn's story disappointed my only in one aspect - there wasn't enough of it.We barel...
Bryn is trying to settle in as alpha of her own werewolf pack but the other alphas are not happy with a pack with a human alpha and so many female wolves. Especially angry is Shay Macalister who is alpha of an adjoining pack and the brother of Bryn's second in command. He makes a deal with some huma...
Raise By Wolves was my first werewolf-based novel I had read. Jennifer Lynn Barnes did a fantastic job at defining, capturing and explaining the essence and mannerisms of a werewolf and their pack (the social, the physical, their hierarchy system, etc.). She explored it successfully, and that, in my...
Fantastic! I'm totally addicted to this series, and this book is such a great follow-up to Raised by Wolves. I loved everything about this book: the action, the relationships, the bad guys, the dominance.. it was wonderful. Although, there were parts at the end that were quite sad, so beware!I also ...
