A quiet story that does a good job of introducing ideas of the pros and cons of being able to live forever.

I read this book in 6th grade English and I didn't particularly like it, but it wasn't that bad either. I think it would have been more realistic if Winnie was older- at least fourteen. You'll understand what I mean if you have read this. Overall, I would say don't read this unless you have to (lik...

She was so excited while describing the book, I had to stop her so I wouldn't hear any spoilers. I love that! Originally published in 1975, this novel is geared for ages 10 and up. How did I...

A great summer read, short and sweet. I think everyone can learn something from this jewel. In regards, this book was the perfect length, not too long to bore the reader and elaborate on such an important theme as 'forever'. Nor was it too short to summarize points. The writing was languid and drows...

Still not sure how to rate this one. I'm sad at the end but understanding as well. I thought that the book really had such child-like quality to it, which it should. But it makes me remember how much more "adult" kids act nowadays. I liked imagining this kid be a kid. :)

The ending. Oh my God. Just thinking about it makes me want to bawl my eyes out. Oh, Lord, Lord Lord Lord, it's too sad to exist. Nonononono.
