The summary caught my attention. I want a castle that grows and adds on to itself! Or at least I want one like Castle Glower. I could see how an alive castle could be creepy. Thankfully, it’s an MG book so the castle is charming and delightful.Celie is an awesome heroine. She’s spunky. I love that s...

There is a reason I read juvenile fiction. I need magic in my life and not the kind that's sullied by all sorts of RULES and ANGST and LIMITS. I need castles that are alive and love to play with their children inhabitants. This book, while a bit short for my taste, was excellent. A quick read, an ...

This was an adorable and sweet read.It was simple and classic without being sacchrine or talking down to young readers. The subject matter was exciting and engaging. While the main villain was a bit one dimensional, the other characters shined in their subtle complexity that made them believable.

This was a magnificent book. I loved it and so did my girls. There is no better heroine than a princess and her magic castle. We loved that Celie's love for her family and for her castle and the castle's love for her made for such an exciting adventure. We all loved it and can't wait to see what won...

Wonderful children's book filled with all the things that truly great children's books SHOULD have. Adventure, magic, and bravery all wrapped up in an entertaining story. Perfect for grades 4-7, and even us older people who still like a little bit of magic to believe in.

Tuesdays at the Castle struck just the right note with me as I was reading it. Celie is an intelligent, spunky, delightful eleven-year-old, and is a delight to follow around. The writing is smart and crisp, and the pacing is excellent.

The first time I heard about this book I was clicking around on Jessica's blog. Bloomsbury described it as a combination of Home Alone and the Room of Requirement. That's exactly what the castle felt like! When the bad guys showed up, the castle provided everything Celie and her family needed to fig...

THIS BOOK! Seriously, THIS BOOK! It was so extremely CUTE and awesome! If I had a little sister or cousin or any little girl in my life right now, I would give it to her. You want the little girls you know to read this book. Little boys too, though this feels to me more like something a girl would e...
