It's not too hard to figure out -- sheep are followers, they need a great deal of care and protection and ... well, they're not the smartest animal in all Creation! People, like sheep, need a shepherd to help them find the right path in life. God provided that Shepherd in His son, Jesus.
This month, 'TGG will explore sheep and shepherds, looking at flocks in the Old Testament, parables in the New and Jesus as both Good Shepherd and Sacrificial Lamb of God.
