Those who don't know who were Jules Verne, Herbert Wells, Albert Robida etc can't fully appreciate the history and strength of the SF genre.

I have loved Marie Sexton's books. In fact, her Coda series is one of my favorites, but this book...I have not liked it one bit, and since it has become a torture to try to continue, I'm letting it go as DNF.

Probably would have never touched this book had it not been for school. Still find it an okay read so far, although my version's about 436 pages and most of it is scientific description. Meh.
