This action-packed and emotion-packed Night Prince novel has Leila and Vlad working on their relationship while an old girlfriend in trying to sabotage it. When Vlad offers to make her a vampire and a member of his line instead of proposing, Leila is so hurt that she is determined to leave him. He l...
I really do love Jeaniene Frost and the Night Huntress series she has created, but the Night Huntress World series has left a lot to be desired. Mainly, it’s because the side characters (Spade, Vlad and Mencheres), who are comedic yet hot end up being piles of mushy man meat in their own novels. Vla...
Hmmm, I guess this is a trilogy, I thought it was just the two books. Not complaining, I was just expecting more of a wrap up. While this doesn't end on a cliffhanger there are some leftover plot lines so I'm assuming at least one more must be coming. I still like Vlad and Lelia and this book was...
I have to admit the first several chapters of this book confused the heck out of me. I'm not sure if I just didn't remember the ending of the first book correctly or what? Also I hate when I know the last book ended on a good note and then boom it starts off bad. At least let it stay good for a bit ...
I thought maybe it was the first book, but after reading Twice Tempted I'm pretty sure Vlad and Leila just don't work for me. I love Vlad when he appears in the main series, but on his own, he falls flat for me.Also, I wasn't a fan of the ending. It felt like the book ended in the middle of a scene ...
Loved it! I love Jeaniene Frost. Her books are entraining, adventures, & hot hot hot. I love the characters, there growth, and the world is enjoyable to read. Can't wait for the third and finally Vlad/Leila book as well as more Cat/Bones.
Vlad is one of my favorite characters in the Night Huntress/Night Huntress World series. Never have I met a character more imposing, more powerful, and probably more sexy than Vlad. But for me, this story just seemed to have not enough Vlad. Maybe it's because I'm not that keen on Leila's character....
*Genre* Paranormal Romance*Rating* 3.0-3.5*Review*Twice Tempted, the middle book in the Night Prince trilogy, has left me with a flutter of different emotions and I’m hoping that this review doesn’t come across as too snarky or angry. Let's start by discussing the fact that Leila is a different char...
I still get worked up from the voices of certain characters, and I thought this book was pretty well thought out and all, but it needs a better editor. I listened to this book and heard the errors. Sad. But the story was entertaining, and I was engaged throughout the novel. I enjoyed it.
