Some interesting themes about what makes someone a bad person, but ultimately let down by clumsy writing and a long build-up with little pay-off.
I remember buying this book having read a few of Cooney's others and not enjoying it at all. I thought that the whole concept felt very infeasible. I also remember thinking that the book wasn't very well written.
