This is a story about a little duck that was strong will. Refusing to listen to what instructions his mother had to say, took him to a new world mixed with fear and gladness.

This story also is about not wanting to listen to another form of animal, the older squirrels. By the little squirrel not wanting to listen, it put him in great danger of starving to death. But given a second chance he uses their wisdom and instructions to learn to survive.
