Domestic violence. We know it happens. It's the hushed social catastrophe that compels its victims into silent despair. It's the hope it will not happen again. It's the quiet cry for help. Domestic violence knows no bounds of age, sex, or social status. Here we will look at modern research findings, many of which may surprise you. You will also see the dynamics that imprison victims and make them feel they have nowhere to turn, and all too often, deserve the abuse.
