The first two books are about Jarrett (white american) and James his half brother who is half white (same father)/half Seminole. The four following books are focused...
I enjoyed this book although it involve a lot of supporting characters related by marriage and or by cousins – some Yankees, some Rebels (some within the same family – hard to keep track of)...sometimes a little confusing. But after a couple of hundred pages you fell into the family and the wartime....
