I need more stars! This one was a blast. Hard to say what I loved most about it. I was giggling, chuckling, and laughing out loud most of the time. There's also deep stuff there as usual. I might even sit down and write a real review...just to properly honour Pratchett's latest masterpiece. :-)

I'm not big on sports, either participating or spectating. But I am perfectly capable of enjoying a novel about sports, particularly one by Pratchett.

Only Pratchett can make me invest so deeply in characters of surpassing ridiculousness that in the midst of laughing my ass off at them, I suddenly find my eyes filled with tears of pride at the beautiful, noble, courageous absurdity of we human beings in all our silliness. Nobody does it better.
