Suddenly, I'm really glad that this series only has four books in it. It's starting to get on my nerves. One enemy, lots of drama, four books. By far the best Rachel Caine's book I've read - it's still full of action, but characters which were not developed enough in earlier books are more interesting. Ibby is always a big unknown and we never know if she is going to trust Cassie.
If I am not mistaken, this will be the book BEFORE the final one in the series and the threat just escalates to a point where I (as reader) prepare myself for an apocalyptic kind of conclusion in book #4.
