I would like this better if it made sense. LOL. I liked KA writing as usual but motivation was confusing and honestly both leads were often TSTL.

I loved this book..KA has outdone herself with this one. Callum is one hot and sexy paranormal alpha male..Loved the chemistry with him & his "baby doll", Sonia..An appearance from Lucien and Leah helped connect the prophecies from the first book and i cant wait till book 3 to see how all this plays...

One of my problems with this book was that it was too long. I found myself skimming the last several chapters bc I just wanted to find out what the hell was going on. I pretty much skipped the epilogue. There were also parts of the book that made me fairly uncomfortable. Scenes that would downrigh...

Fantastic as always...it does start out slow but mysterious then builds...but the emotion is woven through the tale

I like KA's darker, grittier side. a man takes from his slave unapoligetically, and she loves it and he obviously adores her.i expected more of an epic confrontation at the end, as foreshadowed by the selection nightmare. i expected a more public declaration of love t...

Kristen Ashley books are either a hit or a miss for me. This one was a miss. For one thing only- LEAH!The book had amazing world building in a way that only Ashley can write and it was really good. I absolutely loved Lucien and the entire paranormal structure. The concubine lifestyle was described e...

You know those authors that write a particular genre of books, and all of a sudden they switch to a whole different genre...but it reads the same? Like you are reading the same book but with different names for the H/h.Well....Kristen Ashley is NOT one of those authors..and this is NOT one of those ...

This is the lowest I have EVER marked a KA book (I think) and I feel awful. Overall the book was more than Okay and less than good. I liked it, but I didn't. It was a struggle. Let me start by saying that I had put off reading this for awhile for a few reasons. One, vampires aren't really my thing. ...

I think the only thing that kept me from rating this 5 stars was Leah. She was a pain in the ass little snot for a lot of the book. But I LOVED Lucien... no complaints there. Great book and I can't wait for the next book in this series.
