Just some of my thoughts....first, at some point, i really am not convinced that Liam is totally over his wife who died. I guess in the real world, its terribly impossible to replace the memories of a person who's been with you especially if that person has been with you for like 15 years. Anywayyy....
4 ½ StarsCornelia “Posey” Osterhagen dreamed many times of the day she would cross paths again with her former crush Liam Murphy. She imagined many scenarios were she would be looking her best. She never thought she would see Liam again fifteen years later while wearing her old and unflattering wait...
Posted on Book Chelle.3.5 starsUntil There Was You is my first contemporary romance from Kristan Higgans. Since I haven't read any earlier works from Higgans, I didn't have any expectations when I read the book. But from the synopsis alone, I liked it enough, so that's always a plus. Until There Was...
Full review published here: http://www.brazenbookworm.com/2011/10/book-review-until-there-was-you-by.html3.5 stars. Overall, I enjoyed reading this one, but it's not my favorite of Higgins' books so far.
I don't like the writing style of this book. It's confusing. There are all of these characters and things that happened that really don't affect the story in any way so I don't see the point of writing them down. I'll just read it-later.
That was Posey Osterhagen's life when she was sixteen and in love with local bad boy, Liam Declan Murphy. Wry, charming and packed with giggles and tears, Until There Was You will leave fans satisfied and send new readers scrambling for Higgins's backlist.Posey Osterhagen has never forg...
Higgin’s books are often considered more chicklit than romance, with the lack of hero point-of-view cited as the reason they may seem insufficiently romantic. In Until There Was You, she departs from her usual first person style to give us both points of view -- yet ironically, though it’s a good r...
Cordelia "Posey" Osterhagen is not looking her best when she runs into the former (unrequited) love of her life: She's helping out in her parent's restaurant, sporting a traditional German waitress outfit (which she does not fill out, at all) and a mouth full of potato dumpling when Liam Murphy walk...
4.5 stars.Such a well-rounded book. As with almost all of Kristan Higgins' books, this was quirky, laugh out loud funny, filled with some nice sexual tension but wasn't explicit. It actually made me tear up at a couple points because I mean, who doesn't like a hot guy who's a great dad even though h...
