A couple quotes: "The sad truth about humanity, Risa was quick to realize, is that people believe what they're told. Maybe not the first time, but by the hundredth time, the craziest of ideas just becomes a given." I feel it's true, which makes it very scary "In fact, that fear triggered the war mor...
THIS WAS SO WONDERFUL ;____; FANTASTIC JOB, SIR.I'll be back with a review once I've pulled myself together.Full review here: http://www.booksofamber.com/2012/09/unwholly-by-neal-shusterman.html----How do I even begin to review such an amazing book?As well as Risa, Connor and Lev, there are some new...
This was a very nice sequel! I enjoyed the new characters that were introduced, and all of the different perspectives. I really wanted more on Cam's perspective, and I got kinda bored with Connor's. The ending was awesome though!!
What was missing?I'm just gonna get this topic out of the way first. There was something about Unwind that I thought made it special. Moments and scenes that disturbed me, left me shaking and uncomfortable. They were supposed to make you uncomfortable too, like his goal was to make you squirm. It wa...
I honestly did not enjoy UnWholly nearly half so much as I did Unwind. I'm a little disappointed about that. I don't really understand how a story with such an intense topic as Unwinding could be so utterly boring, but that is exactly what it was for the first 3/4ths of the book. The last 1/4 was mu...

This book had just as much flow as the first one, but more internal conflict that appeared to deviate from the "main plot", I suppose. What I love most about this addition to the trilogy is that it is no longer an "us against them" sort of theme. There are conflicts within the Unwinds or "Whollies" (...
I felt about UnWholly the way I felt about this season of True Blood.I kid (and shamelessly take advantage of any opportunity to use an Alexander Skarsgard gif). But for the majority of the season, I was banging my head against the wall and yelling, "Stop trying to make Arlene happen!" And I'm prett...
There are no pictures, but the woman is describing the process -- how bits and pieces of almost a hundred different Unwinds were used to create it. Rise feels a shiver go as far down her spine as she can feel..."Why would they do such a thing?" she asks."Because they can, Connor says bitterly. The h...
