Beautiful language and attention to detail; interesting ideas chewed on a tad too much for my taste. I'm shocked that I haven't read any Le Guin before, and will look for more now. I was somewhat bored with this book. Also, I didn't know it was the fourth in a series (??).All right, so it's a group of stand-alone books with the same setting. That makes sense.
