In a way I'm glad I read Moore's Promethea series before V for Vendetta. It made me appreciate it so much more. It has more depth and far less surrealism and existentialism. I like the stark look of the artwork more then the kaleidoscopic colors of Promethea.I know a lot of people like to compare th...
I love the movie V for Vendetta. Maybe if I'd read this before I watched the movie I would've enjoyed it more. As it is, the authors lost me when the graphic novel version of Evey was:1. blonde2. sixteen years old3. trying out prostitution, and worst of all,4. extremely weepy and fragile. In the movi...
I'm a big fan of the movie and the book based on the movie and written by Steve Moore. But I wanted to read the real inspiration behind the movie, I'm not a big fan of comic books but I really love this one, it's almost better than the movie script!!I recommend you give it a try, you're going to be ...

Even on re-read, this is one of the few books for which I enjoy the movie more. The stories are almost equally powerful, but the movie has music and visuals in a way that the book just can't.
What to say... Alan Moore fans are going to hate me for this, but the movie was better. I'm sorry, but that's the way I see it.Much like The Watchmen, maybe I'm not getting the full effect of V for Vendetta because I'm reading it now, and not in the 80's when it came out. Either way, it was good,...
