I wish I could say I picked this book up because I wanted something more to read than the plain old paranormal romance. I wish I could say I read this book because I wanted to know more about life. I wish I reviewed this book because I wanted to share with the world the joy of life. The reason I pi...
This is the second novel by Paulo Coelho that I've read, the first being the ridiculous The Alchemist. Veronika Decides to Die is a vast improvement but still displays many flaws. I did enjoy the story yet Coelho continues to talk down to his reader and offer simple platitudes. He also continues to ...
The title character of this book, Veronika, tries to commit suicide through an overdose of pills.
