Beware of Helen...Heather is such a whiny little brat. Always getting Michael and me into trouble. But since our mother married her father, we're stuck with her...our "poor stepsister" who lost her real mother in a mysterious fire. But now something terrible has happened. And Heather, well that was some sic...
I'm on a nostalgia kick this morning, finding all these books I loved as a kid. I was really into ghosts when I was in elementary school, and this was one of my favorite books. I can still remember the entire plot!
You can understand why Hahn is popular with kids. Based on the two books I've read so far, she has a pretty reliable formula, and she knows how to use it. There's an old house, a new blended family with conflict, and a ghost. Creepy, but not too creepy. A quick read.Library copy.
