I wasn't sure what to expect going into this. I didn't know if Savannah would carry the story forward. I ended up being pleasantly surprised. Savannah's grown up and found a balance between dark spells and light spells that works for her. Ends with a cliffhanger, so I'll be reading her next book.
Title and Statement of Responsibility
3.5 stars. It was a good reintroduction to the world, but the pace was super slow in the beginning, and I almost stopped listening.

This next installment in the Otherworld series features Savannah Levine, daughter of Eve. Since losing her mother Savannah has lived and worked with Paige and Lucas. A seemingly simple case falls into her lap and Savannah strikes out on her own as a PI in this book. Seemingly simple turns into co...

I am really annoyed. No, the rating isn't a mistake. I really enjoyed the book. But I am seriously annoyed with the way it ended, and that the next book coming out apparently ISN'T another Savannah book. This story is incomplete, and it really needs closure. From Savannah's perspective!

Waking the Witch is the first book in Women of the Otherworld to focus solely on Savannah, Eve's powerful witchy daughter. She's grown up a bit, now 21 years old, and is ready to take on more responsibility at the firm she runs with Paige and Lucus. So, when she gets a call from TK demon and PI fr...

You stop becoming an orphan after you are adopted and raised by people who love you. Ok, so, she had a hard childhood. Really? Seems to me th...

This books was really good. It was much better than I thought it would be. The only fault I give it is that it is unfinished. The story continues in Spell Bound, which comes out next year. Kelley Armstrong does not do the "unfinished" story often and I have to say, it is not something I am very ...

We first meet Savannah in Stolen, where she is a young witch under Ruth Winterbourne’s guardianship. Savannah has grown up. Savannah is now 21 years old, 6 feet tall, and has inherited her mother’s good looks. Savannah works as an investigator for Paige and Lucas’ agency. While Paige and Lucas are e...

Eh. This was decent, but not as amazing as most of Kelley Armstrong's books. I have the feeling that Savannah's next book will be great, but this one was mediocre.
