1.) Reasons you chose this book I read book 1, perhaps 2 years ago and enjoyed it.2.) Reasons you liked or disliked this book I disliked it for the stupid reason that it was just too long ago I read it. I remembered what had happened but who and what everyone did was anothet thing. And I felt kind o...
I really enjoyed the second installment in the Sirantha Jax series. Both the characters and the sci-fi aspect of the series became more clear to me in this chapter of the story. Despite the plot being excellent, and never knowing what would happen next, I feel that this series is truly character dri...
Okay, okay...I admit that it makes for a better series to have the leading couple have some doubts about their relationship. But, this is excruciating...and at the same time I love it! This is a great follow up.
This one was a little slower to kick off, but it picks up pace about halfway in. Lots of scene setting and stuff, but I loved it nearly as much as book 1. 4 and a half stars.
This one was darker than the first book, but I actually liked it a little better (less editing problems and I think the author was growing as a writer). What I still have a problem with, is that the action seems to jump around alot, and I often feel like things weren't explained as well as they cou...
Quick Take: This installment didn't grip me as quickly and unrelentingly as its predecessor, but it was nonetheless a solid and exciting entry to the series. The characters are absolutely addictive, even though this is an episodic, plot-driven book.Review:Sure, this is only book two, but I already k...
With Farwan's fall the Conglomerate is scurrying to keep control over things. Siratha has been summoned to the conference room for the umpteenth time expecting to be put through another round of questions. She's surprised when she walks in to see March and the others, whom she's been separated fro...
Being the sequel to Grimspace, Wanderlust continues with Jax's adventures with the crew. New characters are introduced, and, as with the first book, tons of things happen with shocking results. This book promises to be just as fast paced as its predecessor.Overall, I really enjoyed Wanderlust. The s...
All in all, an interesting series, with some good elements, and I do sincerely like Sirantha, flaws and all, but it is really not quite my sort of book. I do like Velith a lot and would like to see his character explored.
After the events of Grimspace, where Sirantha Jax became something of a hero for showing the galaxy the nastiness of the Farwan regime. She then found out it was her own husband, who she had not seen in years, who set her up to be killed. She finds herself broke, and job less. But now things are abo...
