Really excellent. BUT. Did it really nead ONE epilogue, let alone two plus an author's note?

Long and tedious - as you've been told. Cast of thousands. Best book I've ever read? No. For me, contemporary works are more pertinent. Sorry Leo. That said, everyone knows it's a classic. So Leo gets put on the "A" list.
